PMI-Taipei, Taiwan Chapter (PMI-TW) has promoted
project management knowledge and PMP certification in Taiwan since
October 1999. PMI-TW was officially registered/incorporated by
Taiwan’s Ministry of Interior in April 2003, as a non-profit nationwide
organization, subordinated to Project Managment Institute (PMI).
During 2005 and 2006, PMI-TW's member growth rate was one of the
highest among all PMI components in the world. In March 2007 PMI-TW
members officially reached 1,000 members which represents a Large
Component (Category III) within the PMI organization. |

Industrial Technology Research Institute

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) – a national
research organization that serves to strengthen the technological
competitiveness of Taiwan. ITRI’s tradition of excellence in industrial
research is entering a new stage of technological innovation and
radical change. In the past, ITRI has attentively pursued the
global industrial technology current, learning and absorbing the
worldwide standards. However, as consumer and business demands
become more fluid and dynamic, ITRI aims to tackle the demands
by spearheading original and innovative industrial research, transfer
of technology, and product developments, thereby proliferating
domestic and international industries. Therefore, ITRI has three
core objectives: “Industrial Technology Research”, “Method and
Knowledge Transfer”, and “Derived Value-Added Methods”. |
