William Chen

William Chen is an entrepreneur and known consultant in project management as well as technology. He co-founded Wharton Solutions International Inc. and Monmouth Technologies, Inc. as leading business solution provider and project management information system enabler, respectively. He now serves as the board member of Project Management Institute (PMI) Taipei, Taiwan Chapter.

He has over 20 years of experiences in leading and participating in different phases of global scale as well as local based projects. With a computer science master degree as well as his extensive experiences in AT&T Lab & IBM Global Services, he possesses a unique blend of expertise in information technology and real-world experiences in project management. He has been committed to developing and using information technology to empower project managers and stakeholders in project planning, execution, tracking, and monitoring collaboratively. Under his leadership, renowned enterprises and organizations in a variety of industries, such as AT&T, Taiwan Mobile Corporation, ECOTEK of China Steel Group, National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL), have successfully employed the project management knowledge and the PMIS tool to improve efficiency and the bottom line result for management.
